Application

Actitide-3000 is mainly composed of two palmitoyl oligopeptides, palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7. Actitide-3000 shows a perfect effect from gene activation to protein remodeling. In vitro, the two oligopeptides showed a good synergistic effect in promoting the synthesis of type I collagen, fibronectin and hyaluronic acid. Actitide-3000 is a segment of less than or equal to 20 amino acid sequence, which is the hydrolysate of skin matrix before wound healing.

Collagen, elastin, fibronectin and fibrin hydrolyze to produce soluble peptides, which are autocrine and paracrine regulatory messengers and can regulate the expression of wound healing proteins. As the hydrolysate of extracellular matrix, active peptides are concentrated in the wound immediately after matrix hydrolysis, causing a series of reactions, so that the living tissue consumes the least energy to heal the wound quickly. Actitide-3000 can feedback regulate the process of connective tissue reconstruction and cell proliferation, and produce a large number of skin repair proteins in the process of skin repair, which are more than those in the normal physiological cycle. However, with the increase of age and the decline of many cell functions, the function of skin system decreases. For example, glycosylation disrupts the recognition site of the appropriate scavenging enzyme, prevents the enzyme from modifying the wrong protein, and slows down the skin repair function.
