Promacare-Q10 / Ubiquinone

Short Description:

PromaCare-Q10 also known as ubiquinone, is a vitamin-like substance acting similar to Vitamin E. PromaCare-Q10 is critical to the production of energy in every cell of the body. It aids in circulation, stimulates the immune system, increases tissue oxygenation, and hasvital anti-aging effects. PromaCare-Q10 has exceptional antioxidant properties. Studies have shown that it can effectively counteract free radical damage and provide significant protection against UVA-induced depletion of cell membrane. This function helps to prevent damage to collagen and elastin production process and help you avoid wrinkles.

Application

PromaCare-Q10, also known as ubiquinone, is a vitamin-like substance that acts similarly to Vitamin E. It is critical for energy production in every cell of the body, aiding circulation, stimulating the immune system, increasing tissue oxygenation, and providing vital anti-aging effects. PromaCare-Q10 possesses exceptional antioxidant properties and studies have shown that it effectively counteracts free radical damage and offers significant protection against UVA-induced depletion of cell membranes. This function helps prevent damage to collagen and elastin production processes, ultimately helping to avoid wrinkles.

Efficacy of PromaCare-Q10 in Cosmetics
PromaCare-Q10 improves both the rate and efficiency of energy production in cells, including skin cells, while protecting mitochondria from free radicals. It is sometimes referred to as a “bio-marker of aging” due to its correlation with aging. In most people over thirty, levels of PromaCare-Q10 in the skin fall below optimal levels, resulting in a reduced ability to produce collagen, elastin, and other important skin molecules. Skin deficient in PromaCare-Q10 may also be more susceptible to free radical damage, particularly when exposed to environmental elements. Therefore, PromaCare-Q10 may enhance skin repair and regeneration. Additionally, as a small molecule, PromaCare-Q10 can relatively easily penetrate skin cells.

Use in Cosmetics
Due to its deep orange color, skin creams and lotions containing significant amounts of PromaCare-Q10 typically appear slightly yellowish or orange. Thus, the color of a product can indicate whether it contains substantial amounts of PromaCare-Q10.

PromaCare-Q10 is available in powder form or, more advanced, encapsulated in liposomes (usually a phospholipid nanoemulsion loaded with 10% Vitamin E). Liposome-encapsulated PromaCare-Q10 is much more stable, maintains its activity, and significantly enhances skin penetration. As a result, liposome encapsulation largely reduces the amount of Q10 required for effectiveness compared to non-encapsulated pure PromaCare-Q10 in powder form.
