1. Synthesis Mechanism: The acetyl octapeptide-1 was synthesized using the Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis method to prepare the self-assembling peptide-1. According to the amino acid sequence of the peptide, a condensation reaction was conducted on the solid support, cycling through the process until the target peptide – self-assembling peptide-1 was obtained. Finally, the self-assembling peptide-1 was cleaved from the solid support (resin). The structural feature of the self-assembling peptide-1 is that it has hydrophilic ends and a hydrophobic center, and it can form a well-defined and stable supramolecular structure or molecular assembly through non-covalent intermolecular interactions, which also exhibits certain physicochemical properties.
