Application
Sunsafe-OS is a UVB filter. Although Ethylhexyl Salicylate has a small UV absorption capacity, it is safer, less toxic, and inexpensive compared to most other sunscreens, so it is a type of UV absorber that people use more often agent. Easily added to oil phase of suncare cosmetics. Good compatibility with other UV filters. Low irritation to human skin. Excellent solubilizer for Sunsafe-ВP3.
(1) Sunsafe-OS is an effective UVB absorber with a UV absorbance (E 1% / 1cm) of min. 165 at 305nm for various applications.
(2) It is used for products with low and – in combination with other UV filters – high sun protection factors.
(3) Sunsafe-OS is an effective solubilizer for crystalline UV absorbers such as 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine.
(4) Sunsafe-OS is oil soluble and can therefore be used in water-resistant sunscreens.
(5) Approved world-wide. Concentration maximum varies according to local legislation.
